Remember when we helped Primary Children's hospital?

It felt great to give presents and help others. We want our classroom to start another project for the month of December, but what should we do?

How can we make the world a better place?

PROVlDE AN lDEA of something that we could do to help our SCHOOL or our COMMUNITY. There are people all around us that need food, clothing and love. We could also do something to clean up a park, or play area around our school. What do you SEE that our class might be able to fix?

Also, comment on AT LEAST TWO other people's blogs and respond to their ideas of helping the community.

I think that we could go to the big blue park by the school. To clean up any of the trash on the filed. Also we could fill shoe boxes with things like wrapped candy and toys. Then give them to someone who needs them like the children at Primary Children's hospital.Or we could do a fundraiser to raise money for those who were in hurricane Sandy.

i think we should walk around the park and and pick things up and walk around the school and pick things up, we should also make little gift bags and fill them with wraped candy toys games and other fun things for the children that dont have good homes or cant aford Christmas. when i get older i am gouing to give half of my pay check every week to the familys that dont have enough money for Christmas. i wish that everybody could be wealthy or have enough money to have christmas and to be able to feed them selfs and there family and freinds.

Exactly, and even if you may not be able to give them the bags yourself you can imagian what they might of thought of stangers taking time to give to people, and you would just be helping them doing stuff like that makes me happy too!!! :)

i would want to do a Christmas project like we did on the Halloween project, We should do is draw a picture of Santa Claus or write a poem about Christmas and send books about Christmas or other Christmas story's like A Christmas carol or Frosty the snowman.If we do all these stuff we would do like Scrooge did in the movie.

When I went to Mill Hollow, it was cool that on our hike, any garbage we saw, we could pick it up and turn it in for a lolly pop.
So I was thinking, if one day we spent a wile at a park or something we could pick up as much trash as we can,but before we go back to school, we count the garbage bags we filled and do something like a pizza party or root beer float/ice-cream party ect.,
... :P

Yes , that sounds like a great idea, and not only would be helping a couple of people we would be helping anyone who comes to the park.

I think that our class should buy little things such as little cars, toys, candy etc. Then we should get a shoe box and decorate the box with stickers then we should send them to people who do not have a good home or good health. We could also NOT LITTER!!!!! We should walk around the school and pick up trash.

I think what we should do is make a painting of any Christmas thing.What to make our school to give out not used stuff to the people that don't have.We can give out food,toys,clothes,and school supplies.I think that can help alot to our school and the community.Helping to clean up our play area and the park is a great idea that culd teach us not to litter cause it can infect our school and the enviroment.

I think we could do something like what Chris said. We could also fill it with little Christmas books. Before the school year ends we should do a fundraiser for the people that can't afford food or blankets, etc. We could stop littering. Also clean up the park.

I was thinking about this and I think it would be helpful and fun if we get about three big buckets and mark them as things like soccer , baseball, or basketball things like that and tell people to vote for one, they place their vote by filling the buckets up with canned vegtables, fruit, or sauses anything like that at the end of the month we could check the buckets and whatever one has the most cans we will play, then bring the buckets to a homeless shelter , or a food drive and give them all the cans, my old school did it once and it was fun, plus we can look forward to a game to watch or play.

I think we should do what we did at mill hollow clean up trash all over then trade it in for candy or something. And I also think like buy a little something for the children and people in need.

I think we can clean the filed in our school because theres always trash on the floor,because some people don't care what they trow on the ground like if they eat candy which you're not suppose to they trow the candy wrapper on the ground or papers.I think what we can fix in our classroom is by cleaning the floor and messes we leave sometimes .l think we can give some toys or games or coloring book and a Christmas card that says merry Christmas.

I think we should go pick up trash and donate clothes to people who are less fortunate and fill boxes for the kids at Primary Hospital or go caroling at the seinor citizen homes... Or maybe we can go help serve food at the homeless shelter...... Thats my idea...

i think we could help give them little toys and plushies so they can feel at home and have fun.We can help the enviremont so they can come outside.We can also give them delicous food and not eat the same thing over and over again or eat something diffrent food everyday but have it like that every single week.We can stop people that dont care for them and tell them that its important.We can give them cute cloths like dresses and accesories,They would be very happy and there parents would love to see them smile proudly.

I think helping Primary hosptle well be good for the kids who loves christmas that cant go out of primary hospitl becouse they cant go out of primary hospitle I want to help them by makeing thier christmas a really really good christmas for them to make them a happy christmas itll be fun.

I know i'm a little late but that's OK. I am just going to say what I voted for because we already voted. I chose the one that said bring clothing to people that need it. All the ideas were great and helpful so I hope we can do most of them. I also want to add that I love that we are trying to help people.
