Watch one of the two videos below. They are embedded, or there are links in the comments. Why was it important for the Greeks to tell these stories? Think about our discussion of Hackman's Hill, and how it has some fact, and some fantasy. What is fantasy, or not fact, about these Greek stories? Remember to respond in 5 or more complete sentences!

Like everyone one else my computer won't let me see the videos.I think the Greeks told stories cause of their relegion,history,and beliefs that happened in the past and they thought the events were happened to be told in a story that they thought was true to them.Some of the facts that are true in Hackman's Hill is obviously is the mummified Dr.Hackman was a replica to fool people and he probaly wrapped it.What is fantasy is about the curse because every death of the explorers had an explanation.What is fantasy is a curse,a God coming after you,bad karma,monsters,and people with elemental powers.

What I learned from both videos that Zeus wasn't that much a pleasant God.I learned that every God has their own story that changes humanity and almost all of the Gods makes the world balanced.I think the Greeks told stories cause of their reliegon,histiry,and beliefs that happened in the past and they thought was true to them.Some of the facts of Hackmans Hill is obviously is the mummified Dr.Hackman was a replica to fool people and he probaly wrapped it.What is fantasy is about the curse because every death of the explorers had an explanation.What is fantasy is a curse,a God coming after you,bad karma,monsters,and people with elemental powers.

My computer would not let me see the videos.I have no idea what the videos were about. I do know why the Greeks have the stories. They have the stories to tell why they have a lot of things. Like the sun, water, land, love, the underworld, flowers and war.I don't know what is fantasy about the videos.

It was important for the Greeks to tell their stories so we know why they did what they did. I left early so i'll have to makeup House on Hackman's Hill. :)

It was an okay video but I learned a ton of stuff I didn't know like how Zeus's lightning bolt is the most feared weapon of all.It is important for them to tell these stories because without them we wouldn't know anything about them. A fact is something that can be proved of seen to believe. A fantasy is something that is not true or is fake.

it was inportant to them cause of the mummys and they thought there should be gods and goddes.it was fantasy because the statues couldn't move they couldn't talk they can't do anything but also a fact is like they know for a fact like they know for sure.

i couldnt see the vidio. fact is something you can prove like...abarham lincoln got show wile watching a play.fantasy is some thing that you cant prove like...the hungry dragon ate the little princess and then the princess lived in the dragons stomach and there was a prince in there and they live happily ever after.

House on Hackmans Hill is a fantasy because statues can not walk or scratch on doors.

Well the Hackman on hill is fantasy.Because there's no way that people would bring a mummy tomb and disappear like Dr Hackman,and a mummy say's "Where are my eyes?". Only a person who studies artifacts and ancient Egypt and their stuff.Nothing would do the stuff that I just write and the Egyptian god's and goddesses.

It was important for the Greeks to tell these stories because without them we would not have known about these gods that Greeks told us about. A fact is the Greeks told us about the gods, it is not sure that those gods are real, I think that a three headed fog name Cerberus is fantasy

It was important for the Greeks to tell those stories so that they know who made this and that. The facts of these Greek stories are that people actually think it's true, but I am not saying it's fantasy but I have never seen a Greek god either. I really want to finish the book so we can see what happens. DUNH Dunh Dunh. Also I wasn't able to see the god video so.O had to see the Goddess one.

It was important for them to tell them because if they didn’t the stories wouldn’t be carried on. House on Hickman’s Hill was a good book; some people might think it’s real because of their beliefs. Some of it could be real. The difference between fact and fantasy is fact is something that can be proven. A fantasy is something crazy and fake.

It was important for the greeks to tell there,stories for us to learn about them and there history is so cool and we need to learn alot of stuff... On House on Hackmans hill was very scary and i think it could be a true story and fantasy and fact are really different meanings because fact is like to prove something and fantasy is like make believe like something made up and chapter 14 was so cool debbie and jeff found the eye and also found the mummy and Dr. Hackman was wrapped in cloth and BTW Anubis was the one who closed the door and ashley you missed out hope you enjoy chapter 13 and 14.....

I did not read what everyone in class did on House on Hackmans Hill but when the story first started you can already tell it was a fantasy just because of the house really I would think that if there were a house at all people would be talking about if more I don't think poeple would just let it die down.

I think that ancet greeks gods are really really really really really real that they do exist like forever and ever that the GREEKS worshiped the greek gods and godeses they listen to the gods and godeses , they do what the gods and godesess say and do it ,it's really simple to do them or anger them.

I dont think i could use the videos here so ill try at home later. And about the fact or fantasy thing to me it means and it is that fact is real or that can happen. And fantasy is fake made up or not true all the same things though.

Hackmans hill was hard at the first becouse you couldnt tell if it was fact or fantasy.Now we know that it was fantasy becouse mummys dont come back to life and they dont go looking around in a house when there sopoused to be dead.They dont scratch on doors and say were are my eyes.the gods and godesess were much diferent becouse they had diferent religons than we do they used to say we cant eat that its againtst our religon or we cant go there its againtst our religons.Its inportant for the greek to tell the stories becouse if they didnt then no one would know about some of the things that happened.

I am just going to add on to what I said about the House on Hackman's Hill. A fact is something that you can prove. like you can sink in quick sand. A fantasy is something that is not true or in other words you can't prove that it happened

I think it was important for the Greeks to tell Thier story's because that's how they aprisheated the gods and goddesses.Im not saying that it's fact or fantasy about these stories but I don't know so I can't say it's not fact or fantasy its interesting that they did a lot of things and inventions.
